December 9, 10, 11th Workshop

The October Workshop was a blast, so let's get started on the December one!

Format is the same, but this time I'm moving it down to 4 photographer spots in each session instead of 5... so even more exclusivity!

The sessions are basically the same......

Friday December 9th is sideshoot day. You choose your model or models and you get them for 2 hours one on one for $100.

The Workshop sessions are:

Saturday December 10th, 2 sessions to choose from....

9am to 3:20pm or 3:40pm to 10pm

and Sunday December 11th....


9am to 3:20pm or 3:40pm to 10pm


All you need is your camera and plenty of memory cards, lights and setups are all supplied, with different effects and styles at each one.

Cost is $295.

October 22nd and 23rd Peoria Workshop

Time to get it going again!  Best lineup ever this time guys, this one has some new girls that are absolutely sensational!

Same format as the last two, I'll have 5 different setups available to you including lights, transmitters, and receivers.  All setups have a different look and feel and you'll shoot on all 5 equally.  You get 38 minutes of one on one quality shooting with each of the 10 models.  All you have to bring is your camera and plenty of digital storage.

September 10th and 11th 2011 Peoria Workshop

The new format described above in the August 6,7 workshop was a rousing success, especially Sunday after I finally figured out to seperate the multiple light setups into different rooms.  Those of you here on Saturday who thought things were great would've absolutely loved Sunday with all the extra room to move around.

So I'm going back to the same format, only this time I am adding 2 models and going to 10 models, and I'm upping the photographers to 5 per session.  The fifth station will be anywhere in the building or out on location.  The other 4 stations will be the same, a well lit cyc wall, a 5 light black seamless glamour setup, a single beauty dish dramatic white seamless setup, and a natural light station with the bed and exposed brick wall.

I will also be adding a new wrinkle to the studio, 3 colored walls to shoot on.... most likely a blue, a dark red, and one more color to be determined.

Cost is as always $295, and the shooting is all one on one with each model.

August 6th and 7th Peoria Workshop

This one is here in Peoria and I'm changing the format a little in order to streamline the chaos a little, and to ensure weather is not a factor.   Anyone wishing to attend can contact me at keelingworkshops@gmail.com

The first change is I'm going back to 4 sessions instead of 2.  You'll have your choice of any of the following sessions...

Saturday August 6th - 9am to 3pm
Saturday August 6th - 4pm to 10pm
Sunday August 7th - 9am to 3pm
Sunday August 7th - 4pm to 10pm

Cost is $295 and we will have 8 models, 45 minutes of one on one shooting with each model.

This is also a little different format wise because I will have 4 different light setups already set up for you, and you will rotate throughout your session to each setup in order to get multiple looks ranging from bright sunshiney and cheery white background shots, to strong dramatic shadows built for black and white's..... and everything in between. 

You do not need to bring anything but your camera and media cards to store your pictures on.  I will also explain each setup and help you fully understand what each light's purpose within the setup is.  You are of course free to change the setup at any time for different effects.


Set 1 will be on my studio's brand new white cyc wall, this will be a 5 light setup that can be used to create head to toe images on a white background.

Set 2 will be hanging black seamless with another 5 light setup for everything from glamour images to fine art pieces.

Set 3 will be hanging white seamless with a beauty dish where you can get multiple effects using your choice of bare beauty dish, socked, or gridded.  This is the perfect setup to learn how to maximize the power of a beauty dish..... my favorite modifier.

Set 4 will be a bed and brickwall set with your choice of a beauty dish or natural light.
